• Few small churches can afford to be served by a fully-funded pastor. These churches would be better served by a bivocational pastor who would be able to remain at the church for a longer period of time and provide the leadership the church needs to move off its plateau.
• It is essential that a church be united around a common vision that provides direction for all the church does. A common problem among churches is that they have no vision that unites them. Without a vision the church will be pulled in many different directions that results in conflict. Our small churches need to find God's vision and begin to pursue it.
• Every church needs to ask the question, "Who are we here for?" The answer to that question will largely determine the direction the church will take in the future. This is not a question that is easily answered.
SBBMA is here to help your church address these issues and questions by providing access to resources that you will find very helpful as you lead your church.
